the aeon chair is an attempt to create an infinite tube construction in which the absence of conventional assemblies interprets the elements of a chair in one continuous motion the seat becomes the chair legs the legs become the back the back becomes the legs the legs become the seat – on and on the pivotal point of this chair are the lack of contact between the seat and the back this contact will only appear when the chair is seated an aeon is in general a very long period of time – an eternity the aeon chair was exhibitet in february 2007 in illum an again in may 2007 at the copenhagen furniture fair see how the chair was made download pdf here (301KB)
